Since this memo only surfaced somewhat before election day in Britain and was clearly aimed at hurting Blair, I suspect a situation much like the hoaxed and infamous CBS "Rather" memo is operative.

Who wrote the memo? Is this the original or a copy? Why does it sound as if it were written with the benefit of hindsight?

Many many questions need to be answered before assuming the document is an unaltered authentic document.
