Personally I have stopped swimming in the ocean altogether. Tide pools are fun to wade through but that's about it. I had a bad experience (of my own creation and rip currents). I prefer mountain streams/creeks.

Please clarify for me how a DEAD jellyfish could attack anyone?! The animal broke apart and it's stingers were dispersed into the water when workers attempted to remove the corpse. Seriously LAME.

The jellyfish was DEAD, , but the toxin in it's tentacles stays active AFTER death!
