Since it was in the freezer, I would guess it was still cold. Rule is you shouldn't defrost meat, and then freeze it again. Reason being, when you defrost meat, you have the chance of bacteria to grow. Thus you cook it afterwards to kill off any bacteria. But if some did grow and you froze it, it is still there and thus you could get sick. It will come down how it was prepare before sending it to the store. Quality is another thing you lose when you refreeze meat. Would you get sick? prob not, its more of a safety precaution. If it was fully defrosted and the meat wasn't cold and felt room temp, then you could cook it, then refreeze it to be safe. |

It used to be that someone became famous because they were special. Now people are considered special just for being famous. Fame, itself, is now a moral good in this country. It's its own virtue. |

Quoting: / 975204Can i still eat the meat and stuff in the frezzer.its all going to be cooked. If the meat never got above 40F degrees, it's usually safe to refreeze it. |
