I concealed carry with a permit! I don't have an issue with people carrying legally, but just letting anyone carry without any sort of checks is not a good idea.



If you don't have an issue with people carrying legally, then you won't have everyone carrying concealed in Arizona - IT'S COMPLETELY LEGAL!

Not true. The law states that if you cannot own a weapon legally, you cannot carry one. Police are a reactive force not a preventative force. Any preventative act that police take is a breach of constitutional law with few exceptions. Police are not out there to arrest citizens for "thought crimes". Go research before you post. Armed states have less crime.

As a western person, but not a cowboy. I like this law.

I also think all minorities should be disarmed 100% by law. Any possetion by them should be a capital offence.

No guns, knifes of any kind, including switchblades or pocketknifes. Nothing for them.

In less than a week, Arizona residents will be allowed to carry a gun in their pocket or purse without needing paperwork to do so.

Senate Bill 1108, which allows people to carry concealed guns with no permit or safety training, takes effect on July 29, the same day controversial immigration legislation is scheduled to begin enforcement. It makes Arizona the third state behind Alaska and Vermont, all supportive of gun rights, to enact a law that raises concerns for law enforcement.

SB 1108, sponsored by Sen. Russell Pearce, R-Mesa, was signed into law by Gov. Jan Brewer on April 16. People can carry guns without a permit, but still will not be allowed to take a gun into a bar or restaurant without one, as most such establishments prohibit them anyway.

You misunderstand I wasn't talking about convicted felons. Now if the police are investigating someone they can do nothing about them carrying a weapon.

This is the time Zonies to get your kids in gun classes. Gun education is very very very important no matter what your state laws are. Kids need to be familiar with guns, know the real damage they can do, and know what to do if they encounter a gun. When I first moved here and took my kids (baby and a toddler at the time) to their new pediatrician he handed me a flyer for gun safety classes for kids. I was blown away at first, I was very anti-gun at the time...but over the years it has made sense to me that they are familiar and know the rules.

I have legally used the Lady's room since I first started my transition.

I have every legal right to have a firearm(s).
