Hmmmmm, the incidence rate of Angiostrongylys cantonensis in humans is very low. Did you eat snails? That's just about the only way you could get it.

If you seriously believe that you've been infected by a parasite of any kind, in general they can do a blood test for IgE being elevated. That's the typical test. Have you had that done? As it's fairly rare to get this, and usually only by snail eaters, and usually detected with a common blood test, then why not be tested and see?

I would imagine they could do a brochial lavage and from that "wash" they could probably determine the presence of the vermin or signs of them, and then be given routine drugs to disrupt the biological processese of these nematodes.

if you can afford it id recommend the e-power machine from sun ancon. its a zapper type of machine which can kill internal parasites regardless of their location in the body. i use this machine myself for a couple of hours every week to keep myself clear of parasites.

You have to be carefull with pet product sometimes all the inactive ingrediants arent listed.
