Just another report indicating that natural unprocessed foodsandf plants can have all kinds of healing effects...

According to the poster ONIONS left near you at the office or next to your bed or left in bowls around the house prevent influenza... The onion absorbs the virus...It can also heal pneumonia....

I dont know if this is gospel but it is worth a try -- How could it hurt...?

Good old Baking Soda -- Just caught a thread re BAKING SODA and MAPLE SYRUP''' Poster claims he cured skin cancer and psoriasis using these two ingredients

3 teaspoons of maple syrup to 1 teaspoon of baking soda -cook for 5 minutes (or less) and take 1 teaspoon three times a day. He takes 2 teaspoons twice a day. because of time issues..

It is thought that altho the skin cancers like the sweetness of the maple syrup the Baking Soda is the TROJAN HORSE....

The boiling of the ingredients together seems to be the answer as to why these two ingredients work so well.

Baking soda I believe alkalises the blood and I read that Cancer grows in an acid environment- so they were recommending the use of BSoda.. in that disease as well..

Remember it is conjecture and so I wouldnt really know for sure....

My doctor increased my tyroxine to 150mcg rv/652 and these were my latest reuslts -- Can anyone tell me what has happened -- Now he wants me to take 100 mcg one night and 150 mcg the next night....

Should that reading for the TSH be 0.23 when it was 5.65 on the 6th of September.. In Australia we put the day first in our dates...

According to the info I have, TSH should be between 0.3 and 3.0. That is according to the American Assc. of Clinical Endocrinologists. Therefore, it would appear that your new dosage has brought your TSH to within that range.

FT4 is supposed to be within 5-12 mcgs per deciliter.
FT3 " " " " " 90-220 nanograms per deciliter.

However, it looks like your FT4 is above range, and I do not see a number for FT3. How are you feeling?

Hi HTP... Thanks for your interest... Yes the readings show some imbalance now.. When I was taking 100 mcg tablet a night the balance seemed better... Unfortunately I have to stay with a 100mcg tablet one night and 150mcg the next for 6 weeks and then go in for another blood analysis...

I am feeling O.K --- but have five weeks to go on this new regime...

Its got to be the dosage --- I believe it is fairly complicated to get the right dosage...

I dont know why he changed it -- probably because he thought that the TSH reading of 5.65 was too high when it was tested on the 6th of September....

I did ask him what causes this Thyroid problem -- He said he didnt really know but that women get it 90% more than men
He said it is to do with the immune system attacking itself...

Read just recently that Baking Soda, Apple Cider Vinegar and water have a miraculous healing effect... The blood is alkanized and CANCER CANNOT GROW IN ALKANINE blood The poster also claims that sinus and arthritic conditions are healed ... From what I have read, the blood is self-regulated with respect to acid/alkaline to within very, very narrow margins.

Your whole lifestyle contributes to how hard your system has to work to regulate this. The sick american diet puts a lot of stress on it. Eat good. Get your sleep. Work and play.

We in Australia ran our Melbourne Cup today - It is a HORSE race THAT STOPS the nation... Australia stops and everyone has a few dollars invested...

I ran a sweep here in the complex where I live - just to give the oldies an interest - It was $2.00 a horse and they drew the names from a bowl...

Didnt draw one myself until there was one last name and I drew MALUCKYDAY - It finished 2nd!!!

Just re -reading some of the contributions - and the nutri-med idea is one I have nt yet spoken with my Dr about.. Im guessing he wont know what it is ... we are not that advanced in Australia with different ways to treat the thyroid. Here is a conundrum but one of you may be able to clear this up... a friend of mine has just had half of her thyroid removed as she had a large lump there --- (goitre)--She had a small dark spot on it so it was probably a good thing to do... but she does not have to go on Thyroxin ... How come with only half a thyroid she does not have to go on medication???...

Last night television programme had a professor telling us that there is something called HPB (?) that leeches into our food from out of plastic containers when heated....Micro waving -- using plastic and plastic water bottles do the same thing - But what I found interesting was that the thyroid is affected by this HPB ( I think it was called that ) Anyone???

I have no Thyroid, can't take synthetic replacement, so I really need to know what to take or how to make it.
I know where they get it from, I just don't know how to dry it

If she has half a thyroid .. diet and some natural herbs can keep her thyroid working fine.
I have a bad problem because they killed my thyroid and the thyroid medicine .. it has to be natural thyroid doesn't work in regulating my hormones, I take Korean ginseng it really helps.

That is not true, I am on Armour thyroid, some doctors just don't like to use it. It has to do with them knowing how to
dose it. It is easier for the synthetics.

I have to take the Natural because the other doesn't work on me, in fact they have come close to killing me because the doctors couldn't get them to work and wouldn't put me on natural. I finally demanded my doctor put me on it, it not perfect. I don't hurt and am able to talk to people, that is what synthetic thyroid did to me.

You are right the Thyroid takes in radiation, one of the reason they put iodine in salts. Because of the increase of Hypoactive Thyroidism that caused the enlargement of the thyroid. They used to teach it in schools.

Radiation goes to the thyroid in a high radioactive area, which cause cancer of the thyroid.

Try Korean ginseng ( panax ginseng ) before the doctor took me of it ..before they killed my thyroid.. because the didn't know how it would work with my seizure medicine, it kept my Hyperthyroid (graves disease) under control. I was taking it for after surgery build up and found it helped my thyroid. I don't know if it will help you but it did me. I had some of the problems you describe.
