Just re -reading some of the contributions - and the nutri-med idea is one I have nt yet spoken with my Dr about.. Im guessing he wont know what it is ... we are not that advanced in Australia with different ways to treat the thyroid. Here is a conundrum but one of you may be able to clear this up... a friend of mine has just had half of her thyroid removed as she had a large lump there --- (goitre)--She had a small dark spot on it so it was probably a good thing to do... but she does not have to go on Thyroxin ... How come with only half a thyroid she does not have to go on medication???...
