Parents are divorced. Visit dad in AZ for summer vacation, mom is still in VT. Dad takes family to Disney Land in CA. On the drive there we stop at some shopping center in the middle of nowhere in the desert. My family makes plans to regroup after shopping. For some reason me (male) and brother go into a women's purse store (Maybe followed our sister can't remember). I see a woman from the back with hair like my mom. I checked to see this woman. It was my mom. I had no clue she would be on vacation, and she had no idea we were going to Disney.
TL;DR: Dad and family makes stop at shopping center on the way to Disney from AZ to CA, run into mom who was to be in VT and we had no idea of each other's plans

Tooth Fairy?
As little kids, my brother and I, had bunk beds. One night (on top bunk) I see a floating ball of orange light, hovering in the room. I get kind of scared and hide under covers go back to sleep. Woke up in the morning and told my brother (bottom bunk) He says he saw the same thing. We think it's the tooth fairy to this day.
TL;DR: See floating ball of light in bedroom from top bunk. Brother says he saw it too in the morning from his bottom bunk.

You never mentioned losing a tooth though :P

well weirdest story for me, I guess would have to be 22 years ago I was 21, I was at a shopping center with my friend. we went there to use the payphone to buy weed. I saw this lady sitting down on a bench outside, I looked at her and immediately fell in love, but being the shy guy that i was I couldn't bring myself to go say hi, i will never forget the redish plaid shirt she was wearing and how it accented her rosy red cheeks and deep blue eyes. anyway i left with my friend staring at her and i told myself there goes my future wife. i was sad for about 10 minutes then moved onto other things like getting my sack of weed. i didn't give her another thought. as years went by, 4 to be exact, i met another young lady that i ended up falling in love with, on our third date together i invited her to my boat "which was also my house"
while spending time talking she asked me if she could take a shower and i said yes, while she was showering i prepared some cheese and crackers, meats and a bottle of wine.
when she came out she had on this redish plaid shirt and shorts. needless to say a massive amount of confusion and emotion overwhelmed me. this lady that was standing in front of me was the same lady that i saw years earlier that i never could go out and talked to. somehow someway fate allowed us to be together, anyway this july 4th makes our 16th anniversary.

so yeah that was weird to me, perhaps it was our fate is all i can say..

Dont ask. Too many people are unready to hear amazing stories, anyway. I am a story teller, but I have been burned too many times since I presumed being non fiction would add weight. I will stick to pretending its fiction, since people cant handle the truth...

My whole life is the WEIRDEST story that has happened in my so called LIFE. No joke.

In 1968, when I was 13, I started hallucinating from a high-fever caused by pneumonia I suffered every year since the age of two.

My family was living on the outskirts of Anchorage and I was lying on the couch sicker than ever waiting for my dad to get home as to take me to the hospital for treatment. My temperature is hovering around 104/105 degrees.

In the corner of the living room I see my sister with some unknown people, but obviously her friends, smoking something really weird and drinking. At the time nobody was into pot or underage drinking - it just didn't happen because we couldn't get anyone over 21 to buy booze for us and illegal drugs were literally unheard of at the time. Our biggest adventure was sneaking cigarettes from adults when they weren't looking.

So I'm literally yelling at my sister 'What in the hell are you doing? Stop it!' She and her friends look at me but ignore me and keep on. I could see them as plain as day.

So after I'm home from the hospital, I found out my sister was NOT in the house at the time I was hallucinating - and she had NO friends that fit the description I saw of them.

Here's the weird part. My sister starting taking all sorts of drugs later and continues on to this day - and they are slowing killing her. She's a mess. I must have been prewarned that drugs/alcohol was the road she was going to take during her life but that is was her CHOICE to do so.

That wasn't the only weird event in my life, but one thing is for sure - it's a strange world here, a lot of things don't make sense whatsoever but they do when you're on the outside looking in - or so I was 'told' by the spirits during my one and only near-death experience. But that's another story.

I was working the night shift at the large postal facility for my state and I was running a large sorting machine with another woman. We ran 1000's of letters in a 3 or 4 hour run. As we talked, I told her about a guy I went to school with and some details of events.
The machine had about 200 bins for different cities in the state, including one for my hometown. At the end of the night, we cleaned each bin and boxed it up for dispatch. There are two reject bins. One for letters out of range, and another bin for defective letters (couldn't read it)
As we finish boxing up every thing, I happened to glance into the end of the machine and there was a letter jammed inside. I pulled it out, and it was for that very guy we had talked about.
The letter didn't go in the bin for the town,
it didn't go into a reject bin to be boxed
It veered out of it's path and got stuck inside the machine, and I found it.
I got goosebumps. I still have no idea about how that happened.

I've really enjoyed everyone elses stories, so time to add my own experiences.

I have quite a few but I'll just detail the two weirdest. (No alcohol or drugs involved in either!)

Back in 2000 we took a week long holiday in Scotland. The second place we stayed was a lovely old 18th century coaching inn.

We booked in and the proprietor showed us up to our room. As my wife and 18 month daughter settled in, I went back down to the car for the travel cot and a bag that we hadn't been able to carry.

The car was parked around the side, about 30 feet from the building and it just so happened that our room window overlooked it. As I walked to the car I waved to my wife who was sitting in an armchair in the window with our daughter on her knee.

I opened the boot, took what I needed, closed it and looked up again to see my wife and daughter still in the chair with a figure standing behind them. I watched for 2 or 3 seconds until my wife waved again, then swiftly made my way back inside.

I gingerly asked her what the proprietor had wanted - she just looked at me and went pale. Nothing more was said.

We moved on the next day.

The second experience is from October 2008.

We'd been at my wifes parents for Sunday dinner and were stepping outside in the dark to go home. There was the usual small talk and then we made our way to the car and simultaneously noticed something to our right in the sky.

Now, of course, whenever you hear someone say how big an unknown object was without knowing it's distance from them, you have to take it with a pinch of salt.

All I can say is that if it was 50 feet above us it was bloody huge, and if it was at 2000 feet it was humungous.

It was totally silent and came from the South, directly over the city centre. The city is in a bowl and as it passed over us it was heading over the top of the hill, but didn't seem to gain altitude. Looked like it was skimming the roofs of the houses up the road.

It was triangular shaped with a row of 5 round lights on each of the leading sides (and one on the point.) It appeared to be black - we couldn't see any stars through it.

We're about 5 miles from an airport and, okay, it was heading directly towards it, BUT not on the flight path (it would have traversed the runway on that heading).

When I was 15 years old i was hanging out with local hoodlums and we were at the train station and we went for a walk along the tracks and come across a big sack.. We opened it up coz we were suspicious of what might be in it.. To our amazement it was full of 100 and 50 dollar notes.. Weall went quite and stared and all starting smirking and then went into 'lets get the hell out of here' mode..
We took the sack of money with us.. Took it to one of the guys homes and hid in his room and counted. Total: 3.8 MILLION dollars.
While counting we were all like no one can know. Who knows who money it is etc etc. We were quite street wise for our age. We each took our cut. 4 of us. And hid it in in our back yards and hiding spots where no one would find it. We all kept low key and never told anyone. Quite a good job by us. This was over 20 years ago and we all run businesses and own investments in property and all happy with life. We still haven't told anyone. I haven't even told my wife or parents but they were always suspect when I bought my first car. We all didn't over spend but always carried a few 50's around and shouted mates if need be. We pretended we got the money of our parents. When 20 we started businesses together and done well. Never put the money into a bank and we still have it hidden today around our family homes.
Haven't even spent it all. I'm guessing it was drug money or some Banking stuff up and the sack fell from a train..never was in the media and we have got no idea where it came from. I still smile when I think how lucky we were.

I could go on about other little stories that happen but I don't want to give away to much info. Anyway hi Jeff. lol. Talk soon.

Made it to the 5th page of these stories and this one hit me. I was thinking of a way to write this and boom....someone else did. This happened to me all my life at different moments and middle aged now it still occurs but with less frequency. I think I have somehow learned to just accept this as the way it is for me. Glad to know I am not alone in this.

This story isn't as great as the others here, just a bit creepy.

When I was 13, my friend and I lyed to our parents so we could go to this raging house party with older guys.

Later that night, we wanted to go meet up with some other people downtown but we had no money to get downtown, so we hitch hiked.

An older man in a car picked us up and drove us downtown, meanwhile we were scared shitless, it was a creepy feeling.

Nothing bad happened to us with that man, but several days days later, he was found and arrested for raping 2 girls that same night we were with him.

It was in the paper and so was his picture.

So, we were extremely lucky to say the least. Yikes!

There is more to the story as far as the rest of the night goes and getting into more trouble, but that not need be told!

One other story.

When I was about 3 or 4 yrs old, I was watching Sesame Street, and out of nowhere the TV burst into flames.

I sat there and watched it, not worried in the least, then calmly walked upstairs to tell my mom that the TV was on fire.

Then went back downstairs and sat on the couch to watch it burn,
While my mom tried to put it out.

Expressionless according to my mother!

So that's just weird! Did I start it? Who knows! But I wasn't scared like I should have been.

went to "gates of hell" (redlands california) with a couple of high school buddies. saw some crazy shit a bloody bull head rolls down the path as soon as we past the black iron gates, then some kind of robbed spirit comes sprinting out of the orange groves at us holding a headless cat!

another place we went to that was known to be haunted was the old barton mansion, we went there one night during our senior year and as we were walking up the stairs a spirit walks through the walls dressed in sleeping atire holding an old lantern. he was glowing ominously.

My story took years to unfold...but it blasted me away!

When i was 6 years old the notion that i would die at 32 became part of my consciousness.

Throughout life i didn't obsess over it or anything...always never sure where the 'thought' came from all those years ago.

Shortly before my 32nd birthday my boyfriend and i jokingly messed about with the death at 32 prophecy.

Also shortly before my birthday i had a vivid dream. Of my neighbour, zombified cutting off my head with a power saw...you know the kind...a blade with a zillion tiny sharp teeth arranged on a disk-type power saw.
I actually saw my head roll off while thinking ''wow - ive actually died in a dream! I havent woken up!'' Then i woke up.

The day before my 32nd birthday that neighbour died. No suspicious circumstances - heart attack due to bad health.

So my 32nd birthday was spent building a coffin for him with his family as it was an 'eco burial' type affair.

The other very odd thing was that absolutely everyone - my family, friends and boyfriend completely forgot it was my birthday. Not one 'happy birthday' text from anyone - let alone a bloody card! hahaaa..

And eversince a metaphorical experience of me 'losing my head' has occured!

I tell ya - life is more than a friggin box of chocolates!

Loosing myself in the Bermuda triangle for 16 days. That was weird.

I fell down one time and one of my shoes fell off.

On tv about 11 years ago 2 planes hit the world trade center and they fell straight down and no one cares.

Oh yeah another building that was not hit fell straight down to looked like it was demolished......

Oh well let me get back to americas got talent!

I would assume 'GOD' was allowing us to exercise free will.

Well me and three other people got chased by a massive bat like spaceship that came up from the road ,like a ghost and then chased our car up the road, we all screamed like babies.

An experience I have had now, twice, in the last year is an uneasy feeling about a place.

I was in Cisco, Texas, at the lake, to be precise, at the Cisco Lake Dam. My family had lived in the area for years, although I have never been there until I took my own kids to see the Dam.

The Dam side used to be an exotic Amusement park from the 1920's to, I think, the late 1950's-early 60's. The amusement park had the worlds largest concrete swimming pool, a zoo, an amusement park, a dining hall and skating ring, cabins...apparently it was the hot spot to vacation to during that time period.

Anyway, my husband and I took the kids there within the last year, it has since been long closed, with delapedated structures where all these things were, you can still see the old cabins, and the old zoo structures.

The dam is still operational, but this is where some of the animals were housed when the amusement park was open. The dam is hollow, with a walkway down the middle, stairs that take you to the next floor, I think 3 floors. It is open on the amusement side until you get to the second floor, then some of it is closed off. The idea, back in the day, was that they gave zoo tours through the whole dam.

When we all went, the first time, we climbed the stairs to the left of the dam and found we could get in, and so we started walking into it. There was alot of graffiti, and I had always heard stories of devil worshippers holding meetings in there at night, I half assed believed that, but anyway alot of partying has gone on in there.

While walking through the two first sections (it was sectioned off with a concrete walkway in the middle, animal pens on the left and right of you running lengthwise along the inside of the dam, and the pens got deeper as you walk), I was okay, but as soon as we stepped through what had been a welded off doorway that was open going toward the middle of the dam, I had the most overwhelming sense of fear, evil, and dread. I lost my breath and literally called my kids to come back to where I was, they were ahead of me. I felt that something was going to push them down into one of the pens and they would be seriously hurt. They were walking without holding onto the rails, and asked me if we go go further, I hesitantly said yes, and we moved into the next section, I was full on board terrified and said that is it we are leaving, made them come with me. The choking heavy feeling left my chest as we exited that first setion and was back on ground.

The second time was two weeks ago, we all went back there, didn't even make it into the second setion before I said no going forward anymore. It is the feeling that you are in the presence of something that is going to harm you, it was a heavy, choking feeling, my daughter 17, doesn't feel it, but my son did.

The sentence "There goes my future wife" could be steen positive too, as an act of manifestation.
