Thanks for posting Quoting: Anonymous Coward 739044that one. Here is one that happened to my brothers- one had a business meeting with this man who then got on a plane and flew 800 miles away. The guy got to the city, rented a car, and got lost so he stopped at a fire station he was passing by to ask for directions. He walked up to this fireman ( my other brother), saw his name tag, and said you don't happen to be related to (my other brother's name and city)?. My brother said, yep, I'm his brother. This guy was totally amazed. " He said I just left a meeting with your brother, he was the last person I saw and then I came 800 miles and you are the first person I've talked to here. I wouldn't have even run into you if I hadn't got lost and stopped for directions !" He was even more amazed by it than my two brothers. My brother who did business with him said this guy told that story to everybody. Yeah that kind of stuff proves to me right there that fate/kismet/fortune etc...is more real than we give it credit for. Like I said I've been witness to it too many times personally to discount. Wild stuff. |

So what's your weirdest story? It would have to be the time i saw and felt a beautiful bright light while i was staring outside my bedroom window at the hospital i was born in, which was in an old masonic temple called the lambskin temple. The hospital was across the street from the building and the light was traveling in front of the hospital before it stopped for me. |

We had a ghost living in our house, too, but he was friendly and we didn't seem to bother him any, so I'm not sure if it was conected or not. Well, we are talking two dozen houses out in the middle of nowhere Kansas. One resident was hit by a train & killed when coming back from the store to bring her sick husband soup. Another hit the back of a trash truck which had non-functioning lights and was killed, the UPS main flipped his truck and died, two high school boys driving by swerved to miss a deer and hit a tree -- dead, a neighbor girl flipped her ATV and broke a neck, a neighbor boy choked to death when he got caught up in a weight machine, another neighbor blew his brains out, another neighbor boy flipped his pickup and a boy was thrown and killed, another woman flipped her Suburban and was thrown and it landed on her. All these happened in seven years -- too strange. I was glad to have been transferred out of there. |

| Aaliamazing User ID: 1019821 07/29/2010 05:11 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The weirdest thing that I can remember that I still can't explain happened when I was like 14 or 15. It was during xmas and my aunt had a xmas tree in her living room. The living room was small so she had to move the couch around and it left it in a position where the tree was in front of the window but the last cushion on the couch was blocked by the tree(she had one end of the couch pushed up against the wall) Anyways so I'm sitting on the couch it was about 10pm idk and there were people there like my cousin and two of my aunts and my gramma. House full of girls, nothing out of the ordinary we all lived there. Well I'm sitting there and for some reason idk why something seemed to "move" and I looked over at the tree, it was all lit up and it looked like this huge ass smoke ball was getting up off the couch. That's the only way I can describe it was smoke that was sitting then it decided to stand up, walk in front of the tree and then it wasnt there anymore. It wasn't a perfect shape and some areas inside this cloud thing were heavier? Like some seemed more transparent but I could see through the entire thing too. It had some type of shape but not a full shape it just looked like legs and a torso but not human just smokey but in that shape, the form of a human but made of smoke? I dont know, but that was the weirdest shit thats ever happened to me...ever. Oh it didn't scare me either, if that means anything. It was just there and then it wasn't and the first thing like instantly that came to mind was "grandpa" but idk why he died when I was 10 and I barely remember him. The pen landed in between my right index and middle finger sticking out like a cigarette while I was forking a handful of cereal info my mouth. Quoting: The LemonIt's so hard to explain, but it was brilliant. The exact mathematics of that throw boggle my mind. Reminds me of the time I was standing in the middle of my living room and flicked a lit cigarette out of the open sliding glass door and it landed 15 feet away- straight up and down and still smoking, on the 1 1/2" railing of my balcony- a one in a million shot. It seemed time skipped right then- I never saw it fly through the air.... |

| Anonymous Coward User ID: 728979 07/29/2010 05:21 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Not sure this is the wierdest thing that's happened, but it's wierd enough. My cousin and I got out of work and he gave me a ride home. We sat outside drinking iced tea and talking awhile. He asked me what time it was, I went and looked at my clock--ten of five. We talked a couple more minutes, and he left as there was a radio show on at 5 pm that we both enjoyed and he wanted to go home to hear it. He lived, by the odometer, exactly one half mile away. I got up from the bench, walked ten feet to my door, turned around to see him backing out of my drive, opened the door and--the clock being in position to see it directly--saw that it was almost 25 after five---we'd missed half the radio show. I turned it on, sure enough it was in progress and soon went to commercials. Something felt wierd/off, though I couldn't place what. But, I figured we'd must have talked longer than we'd thought after I'd checked the clock. Next day I asked him, "Hey, did you miss any of the show last night"? "Only about five minutes". He drove a half mile, and missed five mins. of the radio show. I walked ten feet and missed 25 mins. of it. He says he looked back and saw me enter my place as he backed out my drive. My memory is looking back at his car, opening the door and going in and immediately looking at the clock and seeing I'd missed 25 mins. of the program. |

| AWhereness User ID: 908143 07/29/2010 06:28 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My first experience with kundalini rising was when I was 7, I think, on the playground at school. The bell rung and all the kids headed for the school. I found I couldn't move, my genitals started twitching, like they were on fire with arousal. I was just 7 and did not understand this stimulation. It sped up into my bowels and and stomach and heart. Everything was abstract and yet clearer than ever before. My throat caught and head burst into a bright purple light, lighting the skies and releasing every part of me, every cell with awareness. Being Catholic at the time I was sure the Holy Spirit had embodied me for a time and I would have to become a nun. The experience was ecstatic, transcending any other feeling, emotion or rationale. Fortunately I have had this experience since many times. And even thinking of it I feel the energies racing with electric charge through me. It is in us all, for sure. Once you realize its awe, it is you. When we remember we are all mad, the mysteries disappear and life stands explained. Mark Twain |

| Anonymous Coward User ID: 890684 07/29/2010 06:35 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Living in a very large city, a plumber hired by the landlord was working in the bathroom of my rented apartment. My new boyfriend came over. The plumber came out of the bathroom, and started to attack the new boyfriend, Turned out he was kidding ... they were brothers. What were the odds? They lived 50 miles away from each other ... Not the weirdest story, but strange. ---- Here's one that is weird: I used to drive from LA to Montana sometimes, taking the back roads and 2-lane highways to make good time. I was going at least 75 mph around midnight on a deserted road through the Nevada desert. A white owl appeared at my driver's side window and flew along side me for 5-10 seconds. This was impossible. But it happened. ---- Another weird one: on a trip back from Montana, somewhere near the California/Nevada border, I once saw the entire night sky light up as a brilliant phosphorescent green ... this was around 9-10 at night, not at sunset. ---- Another time I was caught on a road in the middle of a lightning storm that was hitting the ground on either side of my car in a deserted area ... I was scared so I invoked violet light, (transmutation) and the lightning came down violet. ---- I've seen a few people who were angels ... now you see them, you turn, and they have disappeared into nowhere. Life is strange! |
| Anonymous Coward User ID: 1052412 07/29/2010 06:42 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I was witness to a strange piece of weirdness a couple of years ago> Friend of mine who lived about 20 miles away rolled up and knocked on my door one evening at about 5 past 6. The evening news programme had just started. Friend was agitated and asked what time it was. When I told her, she went very pale and said something like ' it couldn't be'. When I asked why, she siad she'd left her home (20 miles away, remember) only about 3 or four minutes ago and couldn't understand how she got to mine. Thinking she must have been smoking something something particularly good, we phoned her mother and asked when G had left the house. She said G had left the house only minutes ago, and could only be at the end of the road when we called. My friend had apparently covered 20 miles in less than 5 minutes. |
