Cops beat, assult and kidnap 12 yr old girl

Pretty pathetic


Luckily when they tried to take her to court the second time another mistrial was declared


a Twelve year old and 3 adult cops attacking her and the only reason they filed assault on her is because they screwed up
trying to neutralize their idiocy and persecuting this minor even further.

After eight hours of deliberation, a jury of three men and three women told Judge Roy Quintanilla they were hopelessly deadlocked in the case charging Dymond L. Milburn, now 15, in the Aug. 22, 2006, assault of Galveston police officer David Roark.

Quintanilla declared a mistrial in the case, and Galveston County Criminal District Attorney Kurt Sistrunk said that, based on discussions with jurors after trial, the state won't prosecute the case again.

Sounds like at least some people on the jury had a tough time believing a 12-year-old should be convicted for resisting three plainclothes cops who jumped out of a van and tried to take her." [link to blogs.houstonpress.com]
