This is one of the most chilling statements I've read concerning the Gulf incident.

I believe the corexit is a poison, but why are none of the workers on those ships wearing any kind of gas masks or chemical suits when the ROV camera shows them as they are raising them from th water? Would not all the guys on those ships be dropping like flies, or at the very least very sick?

Ok, reading your post has me a little nervous..not freaking out yet but nervous. I live on the southeast Texas Coast and drove through the oil area not long after it happened but could smell it really strong in the air. Ever since then I have a rash covering me that I can not get rid of and is drving me crazy. The doc said she didn't know what it was either but treated me for scabies? have never been in contact with anyone with that, failing that treatment to clear it I am now on steroid treatment for the 2nd time. she has also made appt for me to go to a dermatogist to see if he can figure this out. I have skin that gets rashes if I just get hot but this is different. I have it even in my scalp and my freaking eyes itch. unreal

The rash and the sores are ugly. I don't even like to look at them. I am hoping the derma doc will know something this week. I am tired of this all. Doc has me on Medrol 4mg. it helped some but there is others that break out. Lets just say its bad enough I am not comfortable going out to the store..people look at you and think you have something they can catch. honestly I have no idea if they can. going to get ready for bed right now..but if can will snap picture of it in morning. I need my benedryl.
