I slapped my husband on the cheek once. He never hit me back. He was raised to never hit a woman. Despite my lack of respect towards him during these rare drunken rages, I have the utmost respect for this man because he never hit me back. In my opinion, a real man doesn't hit a woman back. I was hit by a man unprovoked during our entire relationship and I have no respect for him to this day. Any man who would hit a woman back, ok especially with any kind of force or intention to hit, is probably not a good man.

Why is that, Einstein? Because I differentiate between a smack on the cheek and the brute force a man is capable of over a woman? Yes I think a man who punches, kicks or tries to strangle a woman is different than a cheek-smacking woman, absolutely. If you beg to differ, please explain rather than make some diluted, worthless statement. I have never tried to inflict violence upon a man. The slap on the cheek was an attempt to make the person talk. I have suffered real abuse at the hands of my ex, who apologized and tried to make amends but could not stop his aggression so I finally left. I gave him MANY chances and not ONCE called the police on him, which is how it is for most men. If every woman called the police, the jails would be far more overcrowded than they are now, so all of you pansie-butts whinging over a slap on the cheek should stfu and leave the woman and count your blessings you didn't get the royal ass-kicking most woman get at the hands of abusive men!
