QUESTION FOR MEN: If a woman slaps you in the face, do you hit her back?

The only time a gal ever slapped me was in the lunch line in high school. This girl was ahead of me, a good looker, NO, a sex QUEEN, so pretty , so smart,, so cute...I dont remember what I did, propose marriage or touch her but,or just say something fresh, or what, but she turned and slaped me . I felt honored. I was kinda a joke, like she laughed when she did it. But I felt honored.

A number of times women have tried to slap me, but I'm very quick and catch them on the wrist and squeeze until they realize they've made a serious mistake. None of them ever tried a second time. By the way, I'm a former national arm wrestling champion and I could squeeze their wrist hard enough to break it if I wanted to.

In short, no don't hit a woman back unless she's built like a brick outhouse and is a danger to you. If you're any sort of man, you'll lose self respect - it's plain WRONG.

I dont want to be insensitive about this. I lived it. mine didnt slap, she punched in the face....i never hit her or slapped her back. but after some time dealing with this crazy bitch, i left. if they hit you then somethings wrong with them. i have been pissed too, but never hit her.

I wish my dad had hit my mom back when she used to hit him. He never did. He just took it. When I was older I would hold her so he could leave for awhile. She never hit me or my sisters. Just him. She was always sorry after wards but would end up doing it again. He was easy going and she was a fireball.

As a result I hate physical violence in families and chose my husband carefully.

Because of seeing how battered my dad was I do feel that there are times that a man should hit the woman back.

I'm female but if I were male I think I would take it one time and warn her never to do it again. If she did then I would hit back with same force that she had used.

Just no. I've had it happen a couple times, and laughed it off. If it happens more than twice, dump her--unstable and not worth the trouble. No one should put up with that, regardless of gender.

if you hit a girl for any reason other than self-defense (meaning she would most likely have to have a weapon) you're a total wimp. you should be able to block it or dodge it in the first place.

Since I'm man sized, (6'5", 240) not one of you little girly men, I don't think she'd be able to hit me, and if she did it wouldn't hurt. Unless she was as big as me.

First off, it would be my natural reaction. One hits you, you hit back. Male or female. My reaction would come before even thinking about it.

I would usually be too quick for it to land, having fought with brothers, growing up for many years fighting with them. So I have very quick reactions with that stuff, although I am a very laid back person.

A woman has never tried that on me, but rest assured, if I get hit, I hit back. It has nothing to do with being a "pussy". It's more of a training aid for her. A learning process.

People do not have the right to hit you. If you raise your hands to someone and try to do violence, expect the same in kind.

Generally I would say no, however in today's society were women think shit is owed them, I would say use the appropriate amount of force to get your point across.
