I know this sounds gross but carefully pushing it back up in past the sphincter can help...but if this is a more than one time occurrence it is time to go to the doctor for removal. I was at work today and I could've even walk straight, I know people must of thought I got fucked up the butt or something, only if they knew. I just showered and put Prep. H on it again. What are they going to remove though? It's only a vein and it happens to anyone who is constipated and pushed to hard when taking a dump (that was me the other day, a big one came out and that was it but I was pushing). This thing is painful! |

This thing is painful! ******you gotta love GLP for the freedom to discuss such topics of concern!********* They can put a tiny rubber band around it or surgically remove the inflammed vein. Once you have them they don't go away, even though they might not be inflamed. If the veing becomes really inflamed and twists around enough it will strangulate, die and rot. Yum. If this has been your first time it has done this then don't worry. Although I've had them for most of my life I've only gone through one episode of actual inflammation. It is exquisitely painful and certainly something you wouldn't want to suffer again. No position relieves the discomfort. You might try using medicated pads to clean yourself with, like Tucks or Prep H's brand (a better buy IMHO) much less irritating that TP for those situations, too. Kletos, Eklektos & Pistos |

It has been given to pregnant women for ages. It improves circulation in your smallest veins and capillaries. I know it works and I keep a bottle on hand for when it is needed. BTW, this is not for immediate relief, but will help over a period of a week or so. |

domesticangel User ID: 15418 United States 08/03/2010 03:02 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Push it back in! If it comes out, push it back in again. If it's causing ALOT of pain when trying to have a BM, then use enemas for a few days. Suppositories work pretty good too. The hemorrhoidal suppositories will also help with the swelling and pain. If you're constipated, then you already know to eat more fibrous foods, etc. Or take a stool softener of some sort, go with an herbal prep like Swiss Kris or something every night or every other night. Get a good probiotic from the health store and start taking it every night. And thank God it's just a hemorrhoid! If you think that hurts, you should try having an anal fissure! Yes there ARE worse things than a hemorrhoid. Free your mind and the rest will follow. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God...Romans 12:2 BE the change you wish to see in the world. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 131223 United States 08/03/2010 03:12 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Unless you have had a doctor check you you, it might not be a hemorrhoid at all but an anal fissure. It's really common, not serious, but a 'pain in the ass'- literally., Everything hurts down there, including walking and sitting, until it heals up. Try a sitz bath, you can get one at Walgreens for less than $15, instant relief. And get a stool softner too, cheap, over the counter, they work great. Prep H doesn't do anything for an anal fissure btw. |
Seraphic User ID: 932957 United States 08/03/2010 03:21 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Use the prep-H or witch hazel. tucks pads work well also. Best case, it will explode thus relieving your discomfort but ruining your pants. Hope it works out for you. How long have you been suffering OP?This will sound gross, but do this ASAP.Time is your best enemy. 1.Trim your index finger nail very well and file it smooth. 2.Take Aloe vera gel and put it on your finger and rub some on your bottom opening 3.Gently place your finger flat on the source of your misery and gently encourage the swollen bits back in. 4.Please don't wait for all that blood to clot as it'llturn problematic and may need surgery if you delay. 5.Avoid sitting or standing for long periods. 6.Take a day off work and rest lying down.Gravity plays a role. 7.Keep the site clean and moist to avoid further inflamation. 8.If you've had this for less than 2 days, and not bleeding,it should go away in two days time. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 847425 I need some remedy or tips on how to cure this thing. over time Prep H will make you whole rectum so numb you will not know when you have to make poo.... beware! Now... drink more plan water, a glass of water after each glass of anything. Water will hydrate the poo and it won't pull the inside skin so badly. You can lubricate the inside of your rectum with some herbal salve to make it not hurt. Sitz baths work to reduce the size. But always push them back inside if you can. do this all the time. when you let them hange out, they will grow to be normal like that and that HURTS!!! Take a stool softener for a short time (not long term) and chage the way you eat. Eat so you made softer poo... that is meat and candy bars will be like shitting bricks... but meat and salads will make acceptable poo. Most peoples problems with hemi's are not enough plan water daily. I sense this is yours. sodas produce a very sticky substance and thus makes poo harder to move out.. Burt Bee makes a green salve in a small round tin that is great for putting on the hemi's. (he does not advertise this, this is my discovery) it will lessen the abrasion... for after you pooo... those exteneded skins hurt and swell... if they are slippery they will go down faster and wont hurt so much. well good luck.... I had a bad diet as a kid,so I got them too.... but now I never get them as I learned to take care of my food and body better... |

Sounds like you need surgery, which will be about 100 times more painful than what you're suffering through now, just so you know |

I get them occasionally and it usually happens because I haven't been getting enough fiber or I haven't been walking enough. Push it back up inside past your sphincter, use Prep H, Sitz bath, keep it clean, and with the external you might consider the rubber band therapy. |

Between doing this and pushing the 'roid back in, my pain level has gone from very uncomfortable to acceptably bearable. Preparation H doesn't do a damn thing, but this combo will help you immensely... it sure helped me!!! |
