Prep H will help it will take a while for the swelling to ease, though. It will help kill the pain. Ice may help (good mental image of that, eh?) Look up Sitz bath. Cleanliness without too much scrubbing is good. I know this sounds gross but carefully pushing it back up in past the sphincter can help...but if this is a more than one time occurrence it is time to go to the doctor for removal. Why put yourself through it, it's funny as hell, but terribly painful!
