Ramen has MSG and other nasty shit in it. Why would anyone on food stamps eat it if they can get meat and fresh veggies? Oh, wait, they have to get their chips and cookies.

I've been on food stamps only once in my life, and that was in 1970. We ate well because we had USDA surplus cheese, milk, and eggs, and because we bought flour and meat and veggies and staples and then MADE OUR OWN MEALS FROM SCRATCH. I can feed 8 people for a month on $200 if I make all my meals from scratch and do without junk.

A care taker for the blind guy next door gets paid $1200 a month to show up once a week to mow the lawn.
