You're way to late, this is a done deal. Genetically modified food is the norm now, not in the future. I don't profess to know the long term outcome, but in the short run, it hasn't killed us yet. The problem is, they killing off the unmodified forms of grain and livestock.

I try to buy nothing off a shelf. I start with the assumption "they" dont like us much ..therefore I dont trust "them" much ..which leads to me not buying "their" food.

About all the fruits and veggies you buy at the store have been genetically altered..They don`t carry near the vitamins they used to...

That actually violates a well known galactic rule that says any species with the capacity to clone itself must be restricted from destroying it's own DNA via bad cloning. It's sort of like saying, if you see mold stop it from spreading. The idea is the galactic host map DNA for purity. They don't want or need contaminated samples created by an inferior intellect.
