No, no no science but awkward coincidence
No science just coincidences

Timelined:

It started with this 3D Sun (NASA) app push alert for iPhones.

August 1, 2010:Today at 0855 UR, NASA’s Solar Dynamic Observatory witnessed a complicated global eruption on the Earth’s facing side of the sun. Highlights include a C3-class solar flare, a solar tsunami, and a massive erupting filament of magnetism. The complex eruption August 1st propelled a coronal mass ejection toward Earth. High-lattitude watchers should be alert for auroras when the cloud arrives on or about August 3rd.

The next day the USGS App for iPhone reported amongst the regular 'suspects' these EQ's:

# August 2, 2010: A 3.0 EQ strikes Louisiana
# August 2, 2010: A 5.4 earthquake strikes the Sunda Strait, Indonesia.

Could happen, nothing to see here, move on to:

# August 3, 2010: A 6.3 earthquake strikes the Molucca Sea
# August 3, 2010: A 5.4 earthquake strikes Tajikistan.
# August 3, 2010: A 5.2 earthquake strikes Tanzania.
# August 3, 2010: A 4.8 earthquake strikes Greece.
# August 3, 2010: A 5.3 earthquake strikes southwest of Sumatra.
# August 3, 2010: A 5.0 earthquake strikes offshore Tarapaca, Chile.
# August 3, 2010: A 5.0 earthquake strikes the Andaman Islands.
# August 3, 2010: A 5.6 earthquake strikes the Loyalty Islands region.

Only to be interrupted by a decent alert from NASA's 3D Sun app saying:

August 4, 2010: A G2 solar storm hit Earth’s magnetic field triggering a high altitude geomagnetic storm (Kp=6). Auroras have been sighted in northern Michigan, Canada and parts of Europe.

Nicely elaborated by the USGS app same day through:

# August 4, 2010: A 5.3 earthquake strikes Jujuy, Argentina.
# August 4, 2010: A 5.9 earthquake strikes Kermandec islands region.
# August 4, 2010: A 6.0 earthquake strikes south of the Fiji Islands.
# August 4, 2010: A 6.3 earthquake strikes the eastern New Guinea region.
# August 4, 2010: A 5.3 earthquake strikes Tonga.
# August 4, 2010: A 6.4 earthquake strikes the Andreanof Islands.
# August 4, 2010: A 5.1 earthquake strikes Mindanoa, Philippines.
# August 4, 2010: A 2.8 earthquake strikes Washington.
# August 4, 2010: A 3.8 earthquake strikes Nevada.

Don't you guys just love this excellent collaboration of independent tax-payed agencies without science disturbing what all man can see is happening?
