Ok... Originally when you clicked on the Utah map for recent quakes in the area, you saw this:

NOW, after the Wyoming ammendment - you see only this:

Where did the Nevada and Utah quakes go?? I'm really getting sick of this crap with USGS!


The Utah "quake" was likely the Wyoming quake being picked up by Utah seismographs.

That's why people double check these things :)

This is not a false reading or false alarm, something fishy about them.

Someone report it and then the government call them to take it away.

I kind of figured about the Utah/Wyoming thing - I've seen that happen before once... but why then did the Nevada and other Utah quakes that occured on the 29th fall off the list too? They were there earlier when the Utah quake was posted - and then dropped off when the went with the Wyoming quake. They are within the 7 day period - so they should be on the list still.

Was anyone else here around during the HUGE YS eq swarm a couple years back? 2 winters ago maybe? Does anyone else recall the concern then of scientists if there should be any quakes over 3.8 in the area? That was the number they threw out iirc. Anyone else remember them saying this?
