No, not because of Obama stimulus plan Because instead of firing people... businesses are saying to employees that if they want to keep their job, they have to take a cut in salary and/or of their benefits.
Most of them take it because they know the job market is so bad, they won't find another job.
It's not because of Obama's stimulus nor ``recovery``. |

Well for me and my own experience this is true. My employer has not issued raises for two years and some of the higher echelon employees took a pay cut. We have lost two employees who quit for better pay, and rather than refill those positions they have redistributed the tasks of those jobs to the already over worked staff that remains. Bonus checks were still issued during the last two years to officers of the company though. |
