I think I remember Scorpion saying that saturated and monounsaturated are the best right?

If you don't mind me asking, what is the problem with polyunsaturated fats? Why avoid?

When was the last time you ate an oily vegetable? Vegetable oil needs heat and sometimes chemicals to be extracted. Also the ratio of Omega 3 to Omega 6 is too high and the vegetable oil will actually be inflammatory.

Cool, thanks. I'm getting the hang of this now.

I am understanding now that I am basically going to have to drink like 4 oz. of olive oil per day to even get close to the amount of fat that I need.

Something else I realized in his original post was that he mentioned fats and calories don't really matter as long as you're watching the proteins and carbs. Yet I need to get above 1500 calories so that I don't go into starvation mode.

Is the fat purely for needed energy then?

The goal of this kind of eating is to get your body off of using carbohydrates for fuel to going back to how we used to fuel our bodies, and that is by fat. That's what ketosis is, is the breaking down of body fat to be used as fuel.
