the concept of time (the happening)
things are going to constantly move...never ending journey through the cosmos.and with the power to understand it is the greatest gift god could give to man! "the power of comprehension" most animals dont get to have such a gift.

Einstein once said "if you sit with a girl you like for a few hours it seems like a few minutes
but if you put your hand on a hot stove for a few minutes it seems like a few hours."

so...imo time is happening as fast as you want it to be
its happening as fast as your brain can prosses the information from your senses.

so if you try to prosses things faster in your head
you would have the ability to speed up time or slow it down(this is done threw meditation)

o and im not convinced we have a soul so i don't think that stuff about meditation

without man, time would not exist.

time is... man measuring change (of a constant).
w/o man, no one will be there to do the calculating..of time

I am absolutely certain that we do.
Agree with everything else you said.
What I knew as tangible and real was nothing more than a flimsy, thin sheet of a reality.
I come to know that the real "me" is a supersoul that is my true reality that resides in the spirit world.

When your conscious frequency increases time does some very strange things and it is not just in one's perception.
I don't presume to be able to explain it, but I have experienced it.

im sure that it IS ones perspeption

there is more than 1 type of time

there is also.... ummmm..."metronomic time"... a constant beat happening after each change in the happening...

I do not understand time (its a bit like money - hard for us to fathom).

But i like to try to think about it.

One thing I am sure of , just like everything else that exists in our world, time is a concept or a tool we use to understand what is happening, to make sense.

It is a construct of our minds and exists within us as a concept. An illusion we feel as being real.

This does not mean that there is no such thing as time outside of ourselves.

Just that the phenomenon of 'time' as experienced by us is just that- an experience, a tool we use in to contruct our model of the world. Just as we use the concepts of height and length.

So time is a very subjective thing by nature - at least in as much as we can ever experience it.

It is a creation of our minds.

The only time i have felt like i truly understand time has been during halucinogenic meditaions on cannabis or salvia when my mind has been able to discard the concept from my world model or 'program'(momentarily).

But that has only been a small help to my undestanding of time in every day life, as everyday life requires the concept to be in place in order for our minds to function.

Can you elaborate on what you mean about the two points in space?

our greatest atomic clock has to be the earth moving around the sun...a constant fall (time is a measurement of a constant)

so if you put in a beat or (metronomic time)you would be able to have a better reference point in time.

Re: the concept of time (the happening)
op , dso you think time is moving, or is it that we are moving through time?

What i though you were getting at with your mention of two points in space is that TIME is the the thing that connects them and Time is also what separates them.

Time kind of defines them, as without time they could not be separate at all as an observer could be everywhere at once. Time allows an observer to 'be' at one point, and not another.

Kind of like time being a what is necessary for two points in space to exist as seperate places in their own right.

My head hurts.

Not really i don't understand, you may need to flesh out what you are trying to communicate with some examples or a metaphor or something.

For instance, about an hour ago i went outside for a ciggarette.

If we are not moving through time, 'where' is that man who was/is outside having a ciggarette?

Is he and i the same and the the time i experience separating him and I just a measurment of movement?

Where has he gone?

Where is he now?
