You confuse me with your dual cooking scheme, but I admit freely that I am intrigued...it sounds as if a crispy, cheesy crust may be in the offing...

I like that you can make it so many ways..one kind of cheese or several, bread crumbs on top or more cheese, add salsa, or dry mustard and dehydrated onions (for some reason better than fresh), with bacon, or ham and peas,
