the survival of GM and its supply chain is not only good news for America, but great news for Obama...

it seems some from the Right would rather see America in a Depression than have Obama be successful!!!

GM still owes money to the taxpayers and the newest GM plant will be built in Mexico so how exactly is obama successful in this stimulus fiasco.

so, how many jobs would be lost had GM been allowed to fail???

GM has a vast supply chain!!!

give credit where credit is due...

personally, i wish the President had allowed GM and WallStreet to go under...

the average American would be better off starting from scratch than having this top 5% of Capitalists in charge!!!

Re: The stunning decline of Barack Obama: 10 key reasons why the Obama presidency is in meltdown
.

I've been seeing Liberals lately attempt to create a false sense of Voter apathy
by lamenting ... "Oh, alas, there's NO difference between the two Parties."

WTF?! The HELL THERE AIN'T!!!

Let's look at Political Party support for the biggest pieces
of Congressional legislation in the last 18 months:

ObamaCare: Democrats - YES; Republicans - NO
Amnesty: Democrats - YES; Republicans - NO
Cap & Trade: Democrats - YES; Republicans - NO
Financial Overhall: Democrats - YES; Republicans - NO
Stimulus 1, 2, etc: Democrats - YES; Republicans - NO
Unemployment Extensions: Democrats - YES; Republicans - NO
WHO has been running Congress for the last four years? Yeah, the Democrats.
The Dems could have stopped Bush's Budgets, but instead, they added more Pork & Earmarks.

Meanwhile, the Republican candidates in most of the 2010 Congressional
Elections today are FAR more Conservative than those in office today.
We're gonna need that to STOP Obama's agenda and De-Fund ObamaCare in 2011.

The problem is clearly NOT Conservatives in Washington,
but the Liberals & Progressives that have infiltrated BOTH Parties.

That's why the REAL answer is to KNOW who the most Conservative candidate
is in each election -- It may be Republican, Democratic or Independent.

.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1066072

Wake up, There is no difference at all. They have the exact same agenda. They pretend to fight over meaningless crap to distract you while its full speed ahead to complete slavery.

Seriously if there was a difference, why has obama expanded the war against terrorism? WAKE UP, OPEN YOUR DAM EYES. Its so obvious.

GM owes the American taxpayer. All of the money to bail it out it was created by INFLATION and adding to the national debt which INFLATES the money supply (you do know what inflation is, right?). It is costing the taxpayer a fortune and we all have pay interst to PRIVATE UBER RICH BANKSTERS for that. You like making banksters richer? You like making Americans worse debt slaves than they were before the bailout of GM? Jst as a person living large on a credit card appears to be doing well really isn't, a bailed out corporation is not a healthy business. GM could have declared bankruptcy, re-organized, and continued doing business without a bailout and more debt piled on the backs of working Americans.

fine time to be touting "laissez faire Capitalism"???
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 725896

No. Corporations are creatures of the state and as such are regulated by it. What Obama has done with GM is fascism.

So, in 2008, they were crying they we broke! No, they were expanding their corporation on our dime... all of the outside investors were screwed...401K plans, etc.

This is how things get paid for. It will be the same thing with all these solar plants and wind power companies that Obama is pushing. This is what globalization is about, and CHEAP LABOR. The rich get richer.

They don't care about wars either, they don't have to fight them, you and yours will, they will make billions more money from that. Considering that the whole damn world has been screwed this time, you can bet it will be a World War- they all have to make out on this one, and the losers will be those who have resources or waterways they need for trade.

Strategic voting: i.e. we have enough democratic votes to push a bill. Republicans can then vote "nay" and seem to appease their constituents. BUT when "bipartisan' votes are really needed the Republicans will fall into line...Revisit NAFTA and GAT which was helped ushered through by an arch globalist, Newt Gingrich, by steering republicans to vote affirmative. How is that working out. ... Their collective agenda is not your agenda. Dems and Repubs just have different shopping lists on your dime.

America lies in the balance we need to reclaim the constitution and our republic from this socialist.

--------------------------------------------

The last few weeks have been a nightmare for President Obama, in a summer of discontent in the United States which has deeply unsettled the ruling liberal elites, so much so that even the Left has begun to turn against the White House. While the anti-establishment Tea Party movement has gained significant ground and is now a rising and powerful political force to be reckoned with, many of the president’s own supporters as well as independents are rapidly losing faith in Barack Obama, with open warfare breaking out between the White House and the left-wing of the Democratic Party. While conservatism in America grows stronger by the day, the forces of liberalism are growing increasingly weaker and divided.

All forms of government are corrupt and fallible.
YOU are of the opinion socialism and communism are very wrong which reinforces your belief in your current system/state.
That is your conditioning.
A seemingly correct assumption but also in error.
Division is an illusion like everything else, it is also rampant and permeates in all things.

I would say this...

Someone is mentally ILL if they are at the point in their mind that they can not SEE CLEARLY the difference.

This is a way to SELF-PERSERVE mental attitudees and NOT LOOK DEEPLY and CLEARLY at what is happening here in the USA

Re: The stunning decline of Barack Obama: 10 key reasons why the Obama presidency is in meltdown
Those who think there is a difference between the parties are what's wrong with this country in a lot of ways. Neither side wants to give you your freedom back. Both sides want to take it all away. They do so at every opportunity. Neither one wants smaller government. If they did, they would make it smaller, but they don't.

There are minor differences that mean little. It's all window dressing for the morons. On real policies and the direction of the government they differ none. They can't.

Why? Because if you have radically different administrations coming into power every 4 years there would be no stability. What good would a treaty be if in 4 years the next pres will repeal it? AKA NAFTA and GATT. What good would anything be if it just got undone after you left? No, the next president is certain to not rock the boat and fix things. Otherwise other countries wouldn't trust us.

I just really want to know why either party think they have the power to make any law they see fit? Isn't anything off limits? Will you EVER hear "The constitution doesn't give us the power to make that law"? I never have. They think they can do what they want and they can. Because no one will ever hold them accountable.

Is it time for civil war? Yes. Yes it is. Past time. There are 534 members of government with a date at the gallows and they're all late.

The first new law that should be enacted is this: No lawyer or anyone who has taken the bar exam shall hold any elected office anywhere in this nation.

That would go a long way to fixing things.
