Anonymous Coward User ID: 1011642 United States 08/13/2010 03:11 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | If you think the bible is true, then you've really missed the boat. It's a bunch of stories with morals to live by from a time when there was no government like we have today and no justice. It was the common law of the people. Anyone who says it was written by god or is literally true is a lunatic and you should slowly back away from that person and not make too much eye contact. The bible isn't evil, just some of the people who read it. I liked how it was portrayed in the film "The Book of Eli", the bible was a weapon to control people and simultaneously a source of peace and beauty in a dirty cannibal filled world. Remember that distinction and you'll be ok, no one will wash your brain except yourself... |
