Obama backs 'Ground Zero mosque'

In part I don't agree with Obama, I don't support any church being built but I do support the right of private property.

He "respects" it when its convenient.

Would it be better if they built it 4 blocks away instead of 2 blocks away? Just wondering.

The issue is LOWER MANHATTAN in the FINANCIAL DISTRICT.
The radical towlie heads want a MONUMENT to their CONQUERING of the WTC.
This is what they have done throughout history....conquer a location....destroy what is standing....and then build a Mosque in it's place as a VICTORY symbol

NOT THIS F-N TIME!

They can build ANYWHERE else....just not in the former shadow of the WTC towers.
(and you can thank Hillary Clinton for giving this Emam a TAXPAYER PAID junket to collect funds for building this Mosque.
It falls under the State Department jurisdiction...and SHE is Secretary of State....so she is SPONSORING THIS TRIP)

President Barack Obama told CNN Saturday that in defending the right of Muslims to build a community center and mosque near ground zero in a speech Friday night, he was "not commenting on the wisdom" of the project but trying to uphold the broader principle that the government should treat "everyone equal, regardless" of religion.

I don't mind Muslims, per se. I mind the radicals who want to kill people. I mind the ones who believe that if they kill people in the name of Allah, they're going to heaven to bang 40 virgins. I mind the ones who sneak into this country, hide out for a while, travel to the middle east to train to become terrorists and then come back here to kill Americans. I mind the ones who have no respect for women. I could go on. In all honesty, I would love to say that I trust people, but I don't. You can't possibly know which Muslim is radicalized or not. Do you have these types of problems with other religions? Yeah, you have your nutjobs in any religion, but generally speaking, have you ever heard of Jewish "sleeper cells" who plan terrorist attacks on Americans? What about radical Catholics who become suicide bombers? America has their crazy white guys like Tim McVeigh or David Koresh.. and their militant militias.. but they're mostly out for the government and NOT Americans in general.

Best part about this all was trying to tell my mom. She thought I was talking crap, asked me to show her a 'real' news source. I was like, here ya go, CNN. She flipped. lol
