August 14th Earthbound CME Caused By Asteroid/Comet Impact ??

On August 12th thru the 14th, an object was approaching the sun from the 4 o'clock position on SOHO C3...the CME erupted at about the same time the object would have made impact.
The object did not have the usual tail of a comet therefore it could have been a small comet or a large asteroid.
