Sex, or rather the urge to reproduce is a natural biological impulse in just about all living creatures I think.

People who are obsessed with it as many are, are seeing it as some abstract and purely imaginary concept. Some people, though, see it for what it is and don't need to romanticize and obsess over it.

Why the hell should I mate with this gene pool? People truly do not understand themselves within right now. But that still doesn't explain why people have so much sex. Can they not control themselves? Are they truly out of control?

The correct question is:
Appear bigger than they are !

If you help them to achieve this goal you are basically a made man and can look out for your own goals which are mostly (as far as i can say) by far not money related but you will have enough of the green stuff to not care about it.

So the goal is:
Do not look down at the little people (at least not obvious) but help THEM to look GREAT in public and trust me; from your workmates to your boss(es) and girlfriends, they will literally obey everyone of your wishes.

Why do you think the whole world is filled with diplomas, merits, badges, honors .. ?
