That created a global economy. To restrict trade is against the law. We could give tax incentives for Dell to stay in our country, but we have a Muslim socialist President who hates private industry (except for the big corporations that enrich him and his pals) and he hates America and loves the taxes for centralized government. GM has moved some production to Mexico since Barack took it over. The Unions are too expensive. In my opinion, global trade does not work for Western countries. We have to go down to be competitive with third world workers. That is why we are losing our middle class. Europe will find the same. With the trade agreements, this is all out of our control as voting citizens and trade with foreign nations should be in our control - to our advantage as a nation and people. This is the problem with globalization. We lose control over our own fates and we lose our freedom and unique cultural idenities. |
