The solar wind has virtually ceased. [ link to www2.nict.go.jp] Although this thread is quite confusing, I still think it is good to discuss what is happening, ^^such as this post above^^. AC do you have a theory as to why the solar wind has virtually ceased? I've been watching all weekend and it has been like this each time I have checked. If you don't care to respond on this thread, I think it would be good to start another one as what we see on various sites does not seem to match up. This has occurred before, May 1999 for example. [ link to science.nasa.gov] Some theorize that this is the visible indicator of the sun undergoing a not that unusual magnetic flip. But it is theory.
