Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1059478The Hollywood actor said he would consider the death penalty for those to blame for the ruptured well that gushed millions of gallons of oil into the ocean. He was speaking in a documentary due to be screened in the US tomorrow tonight. Asked about the people responsible for the crisis, the ‘Inglourious Basterds’ star said: ‘I was never for the death penalty before – I am willing to look at it again.’ Mr Pitt, 46, has spearheaded the ‘Make it Right’ project to build 150 affordable and sustainable homes in one of the areas of New Orleans that was worst hit by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. His efforts in the region are featured in the new film by director Spike Lee marking the fifth anniversary of the hurricane devastation. The documentary, called ‘If God is Willing and Da Creek Don’t Rise’, was supposed to end on a positive note with the New Orleans American Football team winning the Super Bowl. Yes, those responsible should be tried and if found guilty, summarily executed. One of the most important aspects of conspiracy theories is being able to discern when there isn't one. Oh yeah, like you'd understand anyway. Where are we going and why am I in this handbasket?. . .J. Handy |

If you forget to clean out the filter on your clothes dryer a couple of times and the house catches on fire and some people perish - should you be put to death for that? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 452468Only if the person is a liberal. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 452468Yeah, asshat, way to draw a completely incomparable analogy. Forgot to clean the filter is a LOT different than failing to maintain emergency equipment (running in bypass mode), substituting the "best practice" drilling mud for seawater, and failing to inspect the annulus after the tool started bringing up chunks of rubber. That is willful negligence resulting in death. Dickhead bitch. |
