Also, The glass jar I am using has a metal lid.. does that matter? Raining like a sombitch here and my rod keeps sliding off to the side. I will report back when I get the gold. |

It was done in Japan in 1964. Sodium was combined with Oxygen to get Potassium using just 60W of electricity. They have also documented fusing carbon and oxygen into iron using electricity.
