The rest of the time I read mostly in my free time. Reading is a great escape, used to drink a lot, years ago but now it's books. Just books, and doom on the internet. But don't take my doom away technocrats. |

Sandi_T User ID: 873093 United States 08/27/2010 12:43 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | We went to the park today. We ate hot dogs. She chased sea gulls. She lost her bracelet and cried about it. We stopped by the guy who was playing his guitar and gave him a couple of bucks. Not many people did. She danced. We walked around and found some delicious treats to eat. On the way back, we stopped and she danced again. The lady with the big green alien blow-up doll waved at her and we chatted about having kids and how her kids also used to say, "No sing, mommy." The sun was shining when we got up. But the clouds came out. The fighter jets on the way to the Air Show were loud as they darted into and then out of the clouds. Her favorite part of the day was watching the massive aircraft carrier coming in for a landing. I was just irritated by the traffic. Yep. Life goes on. Little different than it's always been, really. For her, the world was perfect until her bracelet was gone, and then the world was a wretched place and life was misery. We found the bracelet and all was perfect and tranquil once again. Even as fighter jets filled the air with sound that made her clap her hands over her ears. Surreal in some ways. No more requests in the "Strangest things" thread please. :hf: Past Lives requests thread: Thread: That Which Once Was: Past Lives |

Quoting: juniperolive and make the most in your own way what will the results of doom be? when true doom comes where do you go bug out? not physically but in your mind.. are you a doom monger or a life liver? does the conspiracies of doom make you wiggy? are you happier or sadder in the doom age? if the doom you wish for happens then will you be happier? and get the coveted revenge on the naysayers of doom? or the perpetuated lie of this life? who controls your mind? yourself or someone else.. i am neutral i get wigged and then i shave my fears.. martinis help.. ;) There are many days I hope for a colossal CME to come and wipe out the grid, yet if my electricity goes out for 10 minutes, it makes me crazy. I don't know what the attraction is to doom, but I know the reality would not be what I wished for. |

Surreal in some ways. thank you sandi for sharing your day.. surreal and lovely indeed. the little moments even losing a bracelet then finding it.. how quickly the moods change in all of us.. or like my mother used to say in all the troubles in life.. 'what a difference a day makes' tomorrow things can be different. now i know that is simplistic but it does hold some truths |
