2 Years Ago I bought a Hi-Point C9 Comp. Now, I buy every Hi-Point I can afford!

I had thought about getting one of their .45 carbines when they finally started shipping, but those broken slides are making me re-think that. Don't think I want a pot metal receiver shattering inches from my face.

my 9mm Baretta jams every 100 rounds or so. My Hi-point 9mm Carbine, Pistol and .45 have never jammed. Very reliable and inexpensive. I sold the Barretta for $450.00-SUCKER!

I'm the one saying you don't know. Because you have demonstrated ignorance of what Hi-Points are made of, and demonstrated an ignorance of what Zamak-3 is known as.

You claim I am making Zamak-3 sound cheap "pot metal", when the truth is that you just didn't know pot metal was really called Zamak.

The fact is that Hi-points ARE made of Zamak-3, also known as pot metal. You can try to dispute that all you want, but the company themselves admit it. I am not wrong, I posted the interview where the company itself admits it. You obviously skipped that one up.

Yes, Hi-Point slides do have steel reinforcements. Now go find me a Carbon Steel or Stainless Steel, that needs the same reinforcement. You won't find it, because Zamak-3 is only half as strong as Carbon or Stainless Steel.

I haven't quoted any bullshit statistics. I've shown two different Hi-Points. One in pictures, one on video. Both with slide cracks at different places. And quoted the company themselves.

I have ben in the firearms industry for many years.I have had in my possesion almost every black rifle ever made.I have tested allmost every gun on earth at one time or another(yes there are exceptions i know)My personal collection of assault rifles exceeded 300.I definetly know my shit about firearms.
I got in the industry because i thought it would be a great place to meet fellow Americans with honor and integrity.I only found among the manufacturers and most of the mom and pop's bickering and backstabbing.
I read these post's and remember why i left the industry now.You all sound like a bunch of bitches!!!!
