Op I hate to hi-jack a little bit but I never thought of posting here about a car issue.
Can anyone tell me why my 2000 sunfire (100k) idles so wierd.
I will be sitting in a drive through and the idle goes from 800 rpm - 1200 rpm and flucuates like it never has before.. Plus there is a slight bearing type low squel coming from the pulley/belt area.. I know its not the altenator I just had it replaced.. Any idea?
OP sorry to hi-jack again.. I hate to clutter the forum with non conspiracy threads though :)

Wait till the engine is cool ( let it sit at least 2 hours ) and take the radiator cap off and look inside the radiator. If you don't see antifreeze ...you have a leak somewhere.
