My child had his niece in school I asked if he still hangs around the area, she said he was near here on and off, and the other friends where most likely Matt Damian & Ben Affleck (early 1990s) Only would have recognized Ben from his PBS series. Last one and the biggest disappointment was a Nobel winner and also became vice president. |

I forgot, though, that I met David Prowse who was the actual Darth Vader in the costume. And I was at a NIN nails concert once. Well, I was not into the craziness and went to the back of the crowd so I wouldn't get squished. Someone slammed into me and threw me into someone. I turned around and said sorry and it was the huge, tall, guy from the Jim Rose sideshow circus that had all the blue puzzle piece tattoos. I guess he's called The Enigma. He just laughed and said "that's ok." I was obviously very out of place...I was like a 16 year old tiny little girl trying to stay out of the mosh pits. |

Cool guy though - friendly and down to earth) What's his face from 'Dances with wolves' and all the band members of Bad Posture, Flipper, Dead Kennedys, MDC, the Fuck Ups and various other early 80s punk bands I know there are a few others but as it never really seemed to matter that much, I don't remember them all "Imagination is more important than knowledge" - Albert Einstein revstargazer (at) hotmail.com |

freebyrd (OP) User ID: 1040447 United States 09/01/2010 07:33 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The Marshall Tucker Band!!! I was so young and got back stage passes. The lead singer(Doug Gray) handed them to me and told me to invite 7 of my friends to all come back stage. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1056648Nice folks, lots of good food too. They didn't have any alcohol backstage which really impressed me. We were not drinkers either, but loved their music and still do! now thats funny i was in a band and playing a club called hot rocks, marshall tucker was scheduled to play and the manager of the club sent a demo to someone in their organization and they all agreed that we could be the opening band for them, well about three weeks before the gig my band played hot rocks wednesday thru saturday night and it was in october and we got hired out to play a halloween party so we pulled all our equipment lighting trusses pa gear mixing board amps everything..out of hot rocks to go play this party, that night the DEA raided the club indicted the owner for drug distribution and confiscated everything in the bar, which probably had included our equipment had we not moved it the night before, so needless to say the marshall tucker show never happened we lost a weeks pay and didn't get to be their opening act, sucks |
