There is a camera in your computer monitor and television

I work on elecronics and I can tell you....THIS IS TOTAL B.S. I've taken apart and worked on over 30 brands of monitors and televisions sets and unless it says it has a camera pre-installed ~ it doesn't.
It's threads like this that give people who question things a bad name. If your going to post something so stupid, take apart 5 T'V's and show me proof. Oh thats right, there is none because its BS.
I do security electronics for CVS, Target, Lowes, Barnes & Noble, and many more major retailers and I know electronics.
I got on GLP about a month ago for some alternative news and I've found that there's one legit post for every 100.
I really like this site...but people, use your head, and if you have to, bust out a screw-driver and see for yourself.

Your right about me not mentioning Motorola cable boxes, but I was just replying to the thread topic. That is a interesting find on the cable boxes. I would love to get a hold of one, take out the camera, give it some juice, and see what it sees.

This thread spooked me into doing yard work all weekend.

Then, I started thinking about the birds and the bugs. If I were an evil overlord, I'd have bird and bug minions to do my outdoor spying.

A while back I was doing some yard work. There was an insect that looked kind of like a bumble bee hovering around where I was working. I moved on to another area, and there it was again. This happened the next day as well. It would just hover by where I was working. I thought maybe it could be more than one insect, but I never saw more than one at a time.

I would have posted it on GLP, but I didn't want to sound paranoid.

OMG the dragonflies. I posted above before I saw this.

We had at least six different types of dragonflies living in a little perennial/grass garden and every now and then a totally diferent type would make a fly-by.

What I had seen was a dragonfly-looking bug that was bigger than any dragonfly I had ever seen, sounded like a humming bird when it flies by, and which had dropped something shiney which was a tiny bottle. I even scanned the bottle and put it in that thread. Anyway, some had theorized it was a dragonfly spy bot that had dropped something. Although, to be honest, it looks just like a tiny teeny glass bottle which had a hazy transluscent violet blue purlish color inside (not solid, a mist of sorts), and smelled of lilacs/lillies.

I have no doubt the technology is there, and I believe they would use it. It does seem kind of costly and dangerous (in terms of getting caught) to practice on the general population. Funny thing is, I never have seen another hovering insect like the one I saw for those couple of days. Not one that looked or behaved in that manner.
