Mine too. It's the first time I haven't been raising kids in 33 years (I had stepkids at 22).....

Took mine to Hawaii... she has an athletic scholarship. So proud of her.

Now I'm single, footloose and fancy free. It feels weird though, like my parents might come home at any moment and I'll be in trouble!

I hope it is an in-state student at state college or university, that you aren't borrowing much--and the kid will major in something sensible and salable, since 60% of 2009 grads still don't have jobs, and won't likely ever, if they majored in "english" or "sociology" or "women's studies" or "black studies" or other tripe..

Good. They have the players from different teams (football, soccer, etc) move stuff in for you. It was great and very organized this year. Our son is so excited and I did not cry...I know he's going to have a great time there....It sounds like your daughter is very accomplished. Good job there.

Nah...we have fun :) We just bought a used Beemer to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary-- Woot! We plan on having lots of fun!

We're doing good...oldest is business education/marketing.
Son will be business as well. Both kids have been saving for college since they were little.

We only help the first time. After that the kids do it on their own. There's a futon involved ya know.
