It appeared to be a huge storm/swirling water. After it passed, there was devastation of the land. It looked as though it had been flooded and the vegetation washed away or beat down with a few clumps here and there.

Then came another part. I am not sure. Was a different kind of swirling. I got the impression of sinking. The land sinking.

Strange. But that is what came to mind.
