I have to wonder though if by some loosely defined parameters you are able to tell the truth on a technicality while for all intents and purposes not telling the truth as we would reasonably define it. By all reasonable thinking one would not expect that you'd have to get that specific to tell Enki that he can't talk at objects with the beings behind them either. That would be too hard to define anything if one skirts the general idea being given or asked of them.
