Hi again ST...sorry to be such a bother..guess I spoke too soon about Jill getting better. Shortly after the post above, she had a small "seisure"? I really don't know what to call it. She was panting and obviously in stress as her brain was vibrating! The rest of her body was calm, other than the panting. It wasn't like she was quivering from fear all over, it was just her brain. What IS this???? How can I help her?? What can I do to help her be calm? What can we do to help that this does not happen? Of course this was minutes before the vet. opened and I get an answering machine... :-( the "seisure" is over now, and she is very calm and resting... she hasn't eat today, and does not want and did have diahrea this morning..although the only food we can get in to her is in mushy liquid form.. The vet...I finally was able to get them..just said to let her rest, and try to get her to eat. In the past, her head gets hot, does that mean anything to you??? She is a mix of half German Shepherd and half Riezenschnauzer. You are the only ones who could really tell me what may be going on and how I may help her. Otherwise...she has seemed to be improving from the problem of Sat. morning- the stroke or seizure, whatever that was. She does seem very insecure now, and we see to it that she is never alone. One of us is always with her. She checks often to see that we are here with her. Is there anything you can suggest or the team can suggest to help her. Thank you very much ST. and Team.
