Regards Yeah it always confuses me a bit no matter how many times I read that explanation of how the workers came to be. So Enki deciding to blend his DNA with these workers that were created is the entire premise of the black root race? An entire race created on a whim.. now ready to traverse through the multitudes of density layers? And before that, they were considered nothing more than tools, essentially non thinking living tools.. makes me wonder.. what if the majority of the population right now are in that same situation. What if they are nothing more than unthinking tools much like those workers were back then. Accomplishing some sort of labor for someone.
