Speaking STRICTLY on my own behalf, this thread has never held the slightest interest for me in any way, shape or form. I have never read it. It is beyond my sphere of attention.
Some days ago, a thread appeared, exhorting the moderators to ban a number of posters from a particular thread which, on investigation, (normal curiousity, one would surmise) turned out to be this one.
A quick perusal of a page or two appeared to me to be much ado about nothing, considering the soul-shattering insults and vicious name-calling experienced frequently by many posters on a great variety of threads.
Primarily in jest, I posted a definition of the word "forum/fora", nothing more. Oh, humble apologies, - also the offer of further explanation of the word should the scholarly (dictionary) definition lack sufficient clarity.
My fleeting indulgence in ST's philosophical cosmology terminated right there.
However, my post resulted in an almost torrent of unwarranted personal insults, abuse and name-calling from the rabid disciples of ST. Instead of calling his/its minions to heel (with advice to behave impeccably, as befitting little neophytes of a superior knowledge, as any intelligent ET instructor would be wont to do), ST astonishingly condoned (if not encouraged) the ongoing display of juvenile idiocy. In addition, certain threats came into play (comical though they may have been).
Now, I ask, just what breed of supposedly intellectually advanced ET would giggle repeatedly at such conduct by the supposedly intellecually advanced students under his control?
Not a solitary ET of my aquaintance, that's for sure.
They unfailingly conduct themselves with dignity and composure and require the same of their peers.
My real point is that ST's own demeanour and lack of control in inhibiting his followers is solely responsible for the continuing jibes and thrusts at his credibility.
