I thought you do, otherwise you would be deceiving yourself or not in a position to make any assertment about. The IPCC means International Pannel for Climate Change, and basically its a "science oriented" movement of the united nations environmental program to "understand..." and take "informed actions..." concerning the climate on the planet. Many (not most) renowned climatologist (human, obviously) had participated in the reports. Those being carried to the policymakers are obviously incomplete and partially misguided from a scientific point of view. What about the supposed consensus?
The IPCC has made a series of models with predictions (estimations) of what could happen within different scenarios. All this is in the reports, specially on the "scientific basis", not in the policymakers part.

Notice this: In thousands of records in the fossil lines, there is not a single piece of evidence of technology until some thousand years ago, and that was stone age one.
