ST in Bg

I have asked you so many times
Not on here
In private...as you told us to do
For special requests

I ask again
My mom died a year ago
My father had heart transplant since then
He is still in major grieving mode
He has tried so hard to stay grounded for his grandkiddies sake
He would be happier trying to move on maybe
If he didnt lose the sight of his right eye

He's 70 and was never a great driver
He still drives although he has lost the sight of his right eye now through the op or diabetes
I am so apalled that he risks others lives
But if I tell him he cant drive he will be housebound so much that he will die very soon...via loss of his ego

I dont know what to do
Do I tell the authorities so he is no longer allowed to drive (that is what I KNOW should do)
Or take away his freedom so he is totally housebound that he will die an even more lonelier death? He wont use taxis....because he gets angry about passing his last piece of control over?

Would I be condemned if I say nothing....even though I know he is an accident waiting to happen?
