One of my concerns is that they could "mistime" this abandoning of the props causing the system to fail well in advance of Nibiru's passing.

In this case unfortunately we probably will have to deal
with rampant violence and murder over food and supplies.

I would think the level of death/destruction of a mistimed economic collapse would be similar to other scenarios that are being prevented such as us being able to view Nibiru.
