While we are on the subject of computer crap, can someone please share with me:
1. The use of the file: pagefile.sys
2. The reason the file is freakin' 1.5 GB yes, that's GB on my system
and
3. How to clear it out and prevent it from getting that large again?

For example, with 1 gig ram, set it to 3000mb min and max. If you have 4 gigs of ram, set it 4096mb min and max. The rest depends..... The only time you should "remove " the paging file is if you have between 4-8 gigs of ram...yeah...seriously... Hope this helps.
