WTF !!! Are you aware that Aspartame is derived form GMO E.coli Bacteria

You forgot to mention some very important issues.


1) Proven toxic Aspartame was permitted by the FDA to be relabeled and still sold in the USA as SUCRALOSE.
Look at the ingredient lists of your drinks people!!

2) Aspartame / Sucralose is BANNED in Europe as a toxic substance.

Nasty stuff. Whenever I see a label saying no added sugar, I put it back and get the nutritious natural sugar full stuff. Better the devil you know...

On the European Common Market, Aspartame is banned for all children's products. Why is this not the case in Canada and the U.S.? Because Monsanto - which owns the NutraSweet Company which manufactures Aspartame - pays off the FDA, the American Medical Association, The American Dietetic and Diabetic Associations, Congressmen and Senators and virtually anyone who gets in the way, and in other countries too. The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation caught them red handed and aired a program where Monsanto was trying to bribe Canadian Doctors at Health Canada.

They do sell soda with Splenda ...though it's hard to find and sells out quickly. Coke used to have it, but I haven't see that in the stores in a long time. I know where to get my diet soda with splenda.

We all can thank Donald Rumsfeld for this. Without his power this stuff would have never made it to the market. He also backs TamiFlu, so you should also run like hell if you are ever in that situation.
Aspartame breaks down into Methyl Alcohol in the body. That's wood alcohol for those that aren't aware. Wood alcohol causes blindness. That makes perfect sense because the only people that ingest that crap are blind anyway!

I haven't heard the Vietnam story before.

The story I heard is that aspartame came out of research for a treatment for stomach ulcers. Apparently a scientist on the project discovered the latest formula he/she was trying was extremely sweet.

When his/her bosses were informed of this, they decided they could make a shitload of money selling the formula as an artificial sweetener.

i do the same :o) the things i have trouble with (and increasingly so) are fruit cordials and chewing gum.

I wouldn't touch diet soft drinks with a 50 foot barge pole.

It is not banned in UK

it is in most diluted juice drinks, and diet drinks, and some non-diet drinks, Chewing Gum and probably more

i'd rather go thirsty! trouble is i have a diabetic at home and well meaning relatives often buy diet drinks thinking they are doing something nice... grrr

its now just used as a 'flavoring' if you look at a lot of labels..

Could never understand why or how people drink sodas with Nutrasweet/Aspartame.

Anytime I tried to drink one I got a raging headache and to me it just tastes nasty with a horrible aftertaste. I also don't drink American beer because of all the chemicals they add to that and the horrible aftertaste. Give me a German beer that hasn't been altered for the American market and I will drink it easily and enjoy it.

Even back in the early 70s/80s I believe it was stated that artificial sweeteners caused cancer in lab rats.

Take a nice dosage of aspartame (let´s start with 100 micro pills) and there´s a nice high chance of you getting what you´re speaking of.

Also into formaldehyde.
