I never claimed to possess a "secret". I've developed a skill for poker and I've always had a gift for reading people, so over time I've turned into a shark. I win at 90% of the tables I sit down at. I started by reading all of Brunson's books, Helmuth's books, and I watch as much poker on TV as possible. It took me 7 years of playing and studying to get where I'm at today. There's your advice, sorry its not a get-rich-quick scheme - hard work and sacrifice. |

Even the most basic strategies will help you as a beginner, then as you become more experienced, you can start to utilize some of the more advanced approaches to the game. As far as being able to read your opponents at the table, that's something you either have, or you don't, and you can only discover the answer to that by playing live games. |

Hey OP, Play a lot of poker here in South Florida where they had no limit but you could only sit at the table with $100.00 at a time, but could pull as many additional 100's you want as you lose your chips. When in Vegas last month, sat down at a 5-10 no limit with my measly 100 bucks and the guy next to me sat down with thousands! How do you compete against stacks like that with just a few 100? Thanks. |
