I quit my $90K job six months ago to do this full-time. I'm averaging around $6K per week CASH, and my travel expenses are around $750 per trip. I'm letting all of you know this because there are many legit ways to make money other than slaving away for horrible bosses and companies. I am loving life and living large.

theres no secret, its called instinct....some players have it, some dont....

most learn the hardway whether or not they have it...what are you willing to risk to find out if you do or not?!

Good for you! I don't do online poker - my strength is in reading my opponents and I can only do that if they're sitting at the table with me. I know some people are very successful at the online game, so again, congrats to you.

I guess I'm a better online player. I started with only $100 and never looked back.

To the college student who would like to learn...
I played/practised with play money during the first 4 months until I thought my game was good enough to make a profit out of it, before I decided to play with real money.
You can download Pokerstars or any other site and practise for free.

I wish I could be a pro gambler; I agree there are other ways to make money than to slave away at lousy jobs.

Cash games. 1-2, 1-3, 2-5, 3-6 blinds, all no-limit holdem.

I always sit with $200-$300, make around $130/hour, on average.
