Myalgic encephalomyelitis (aka chronic fatigue syndrome) caused by intestinal and liver issues, complicated by adrenal fatigue.
Symptoms used to be a 10 when they began 8 years ago, now they can range from a 2-5, depending on what kind of day I'm having.
I've almost got it all licked due to a very aggressive diet and supplement plan, but I'm still having some issues.
Right now this evening my adrenals are hammered because of no sleep last night (thunderstorm disturbed my big dog all night) and a long day today - just got home a few minutes ago.
I've got a lot to do tomorrow, it will be nice if you can perk me up!
thanking you in advance
OK, done. Let me know how you feel tomorrow, please.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 888780Well, it's morning and I'm not the train wreck I was expecting to be, based on experience of how I felt the night before and knowing how long it would take to recover. I also expected what I call a "liver episode" in the middle of the night, which I did not have. That's when I awake in the middle of the night with my heart racing and I have this unmistakable, uncomfortable feeling that comes from a liver in distress. I've had it happen at least a thousand times.
I'm not perfect this morning, but I'm not as bad as I should have been. Getting up and getting breakfast was not the enormous chore that it always is when I overdo it so badly the day before.
I'm sorry I can't quantify it better than this, it's just the nature of this illness - so many metabolic systems are affected. Thank you very much!
It will also be interesting to see how fast recovery is the rest of today. There is usually no quick fix for hammered adrenal glands, normally it's a day or two of complete rest.
Incidentally, if anyone wants some diet or supplement advice for CFS, you can PM me.
